Course Topics:

Effectively setup the Manufacturing system options that apply to your production process and organizational needs.
Explain how the Microsoft Dynamics GP distribution and financial modules are integrated with Manufacturing.
Properly create component and manufactured items.
Properly structure Bills of Materials and Routings to fit specific manufacturing environments.
Create and schedule Manufacturing Orders for your production needs.
Make the necessary setups to use Outsourcing.
Understand the relationship between Manufacturing and Sales Order Processing.
Order, allocate, and fulfill manufactured items using Sales Order Processing.
Properly set up the Sales Configurator.
Understand basic MRP calculations and how to work with the outputs of MRP.
Plan production using the Sales Forecasting, MPS, MRP and CRP modules.
Use the Manufacturing report options to produce desired reports.

Course Topics:

Overview and Key Concepts of Project Accounting suite and integration to financial modules
Security and Set-up options for Project Accounting, including timesheet, equipment, inventory transfer, employee expense, purchase order and invoicing
Configuring Project Accounting master records, including customers, employees, vendors and rate tables.
Creating contracts, projects, and budgets and a review of project types and accounting methods
Project Accounting transaction entry options and posting implications, including timesheets, employee expenses, equipment logs, and miscellaneous log entry
Purchasing and inventory transactions in Project Accounting, including purchase order and receiving transactions, inventory transfer entry, and editing purchase orders
Creating billing invoices and revenue recognition, including Time & Material invoicing vs. Progress Billings
Month-end, period-end, calendar and fiscal year-end processes, including aging process and WIP process, and focus on errors that cause Project Accounting to be out of balance with General Ledger
Project Accounting reporting options

All Microsoft Dynamics GP, SL, and CRM classes are held in our Farmington Hills, Michigan Training Facility unless special arrangements are made to be held at a client location or a New Horizons Computer Learning Center.
All Microsoft Dynamics GP, SL, and CRM classes are one day unless otherwise noted and in our Farmington Hills, Michigan Training Facility .
Classes begin at 8:30 am and end at 4:30 pm (Crystal ends at 5:30 pm). There is a lunch break between 12:00 pm and 1:15 pm. Participants are responsible for their own lunch. A list of restaurants in close proximity to our Farmington Hills, Michigan Training Facility will be provided.
Attire is business casual. Please dress comfortably.
Pre-registration and prepayment are required to confirm your enrollment.
Computers, training workbooks and light refreshments are provided for all classes in our Farmington Hills, Michigan Training Facility.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes that fail to meet the 3 person minimum enrollment.
Microsoft Dynamics GP, SL, and CRM course fees are refundable up to one week prior to the date of the course.
Cancellations received less than one week prior to a scheduled Microsoft Dynamics GP, SL, and CRM class will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
Confirmed registrants who cancel less than 48 hours prior to the Microsoft Dynamics GP, SL, and CRM course date will receive no refund of prepaid fees, but may reschedule to an alternate class time.
