General Ledger in Dynamics 365 Business Central
By the end of this training course, participants will be able to navigate General Ledger features in Dynamics 365 Business Central. They will gain familiarity with the General Ledger, including how to maintain the Chart of Accounts and how to maintain and add Journal Entries, Dimensions where needed, Posted Entries, Recurring Journals, plus an introduction to the Financial Reports and Budget functions. Participants will also learn to create a template for journal entry imports, learn to run General Ledger reports, understand the month-end process, and perform the year-end closing process.
Notes:
· Hand-On Exercise 1: creating a batch, assigning No. Series, creating a journal entry, preview posting, and reviewing the impact on the Chart of Accounts
· Hand-On Exercise 2: run Trial Balance reports, update User Setup Posting window for your User.
· Hand-On Exercise 3: create a Financial Report, set up a Budget Template, populate and import data.
· Q & A: this course will leave enough time in the end to address any questions.
· Please ensure access to a computer with internet connectivity in order to access Dynamics 365 Business Central during the session via a web browser (preferably Microsoft Edge).
