SmartList Builder is a tool offered by eOne Solutions which gives GP users the ability to create GP SmartLists using any SQL table or view or script (in addition to standard GP views). This course will cover creating a new SmartList, linking other GP tables then choosing and renaming default columns, assigning field type defaults, restrictions and more. We’ll also walk through creating ‘Go-To’ links, creating calculated fields, granting GP user security, SmartList Builder Maintenance windows and discuss multi-company SmartLists. We’ll also cover Navigation List Builder and Excel Report Builder as well as discuss ideal scenarios for each, and we’ll learn about a handy little gem called Table Finder.
